Dermoscopy is a non-invasive diagnostic procedure that uses a dermatoscope to examine skin lesions and moles closely to analyse colour, structure, and patterns, aiding in early detection and management of potential skin cancer. (1-2 moles/lesions per appointment only)
Wart removal involves procedures to eliminate warts caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Common methods include cryotherapy, which uses liquid nitrogen to freeze the wart, removal with scalpel under local anaesthesia, or a combination of both.
Cryotherapy, or liquid nitrogen treatment, involves applying extreme cold to remove abnormal skin tissues such as warts, skin tags, or precancerous lesions.
The excision of skin lesions or moles is a surgical procedure to remove suspicious or bothersome growths performed under local anaesthesia.
